Leadership Academy

We believe every young person has potential to be a leader. As an non-profit-making youth organization, our mission is to offer youths wholistic and integrated development services, posing positive challenges to stimulate reflections on their direction and values in life, and help draw the best of their potential to become leaders of the future.

International Chinese youth Leadership Academy (LA) has been a much acclaimed and popular annual event of Breakthrough since 1996. Our primary goal is to gather, network and nurture local and overseas Chinese youths with a 7-day experiential leadership training camp. Every year, we have more than 100 students coming from all over the world including USA, Canada, England, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Taiwan, China and Hong Kong, to share their own life stories and grow together in experience. Secondarily, Breakthrough would use LA as training platform for selected mainland and overseas youth workers and student ambassadors, by running a "train-the-trainer" and "youth leader training" series alongside.
