Breakthrough has always placed its emphasis on wholistic care, encouraging young people to develop their potentials and helping youth workers in training youngsters. We have come a long way from the initial magazine, audio-visual production to the current Uzone 21.com. We are actively involved in approaching and caring for young people, hoping that our examples would bring about changes in their lives and encouraging them to lead a more fulfilling lives.

A recent survey showed that only 5% of local youngsters thought they had a happy life, the percentage being the lowest among 10 Asian cities. Our young people feel lonely and helpless in the face of fierce competition in schools, coldness among members of their family and alienation from friends and peers.

Breakthrough entered the 21st century with the objective of "Wholistic education – moulding leaders for the 21st century", the aim of which is to encourage young people to review, re-organize and re-new their lives. We hope that under Life Project, young people who are lost and unhappy can open their hearts to come face to face with themselves, their families and friends and peers, and that they can push themselves to become leaders of the 21th century.
